Sri Vishnu Shankar Mill was established in 1981 and commenced production in 1983 with a spindle capacity of 12,000. Today, the company has a turnover of Rs.50 crores, and a present capacit6y of 44,352 spindles and 288 rotors, which includes both state-of-the-art indigenous and imported machines.

The Mill produces yarn of various counts ranging from 10’s to 60’s. A discerning clientele from Australia, Japan and China endorse the superior quality of this yarn. The Mill has many awards to its credit including many ‘Good Industrial Relations’ awards from the Government of Tamil Nadu and the ‘National Safety’ awards from the Government of India.
